How do you define new cars, used cars and zero-mileage second-hand cars?
- New cars: Factory brand-new vehicles with zero mileage, complete factory warranty and full original documentation.
- Zero-mileage second-hand cars: Pre-registered vehicles with no actual road use, zero odometer reading, lower price than brand-new models.
- Used cars: Pre-owned vehicles with recorded mileage; we provide full vehicle history reports before shipment.
Q: What are the applicable scenarios for FOB, CIF, CFR and DDP trade terms?
- FOB (Free On Board): We deliver cars on board the vessel at the Chinese port; you cover ocean freight, insurance and all risks after loading. Best for buyers with their own freight forwarder.
- CFR (Cost and Freight): We cover ocean freight to your destination port; you arrange cargo insurance.
- CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight): We pay for freight plus basic marine insurance up to the destination port; risk transfers once goods are loaded on board.
- DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): We handle export customs, ocean shipment, import clearance, import duties and taxes, and deliver cars directly to your warehouse. Suitable for buyers who want full one-stop logistics service.
Q: What are the differences between RoRo, container and rail vehicle shipping?
- RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off): Vehicles are driven directly onto car carrier ships. Lowest cost per unit, fast loading; only available on major auto shipping routes, with medium risk of minor scratches.
- Container shipment: Cars are secured inside sealed 20ft/40ft containers. Low damage risk, fully locked cargo; higher cost, ideal for luxury EVs and high-value vehicles.
- Rail transport: Railway container delivery from China to Europe, Central Asia and Russia. Stable transit time, less affected by sea port congestion; cost sits between RoRo and sea container shipping.
Q: What export documents will you provide for customs clearance?
We will supply a full set of export papers: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Export Certificate, Vehicle Title, VIN certificate, CCC certificate, and inspection report. We can also prepare PVOC, COC and other country-specific homologation documents upon request.
Q: Can I check the VIN and vehicle history before purchase?
Yes. We provide full VIN verification and official vehicle history records, including maintenance records, accident checks and recall status. No accident or flood-damaged vehicles will be shipped.
What is the difference between CLTC and WLTP driving range?
- CLTC: Chinese domestic test cycle; the rated range is generally 15%–25% higher than real-world driving conditions.
- WLTP: European global test cycle; data is closer to actual road performance and is widely recognised by most import countries. We can provide both sets of range data for your import registration.
Q: Are GB/T charging ports compatible with CCS2?
Can you modify the charging interface? Chinese domestic EVs use the GB/T standard, which has different physical connectors and communication protocols from European CCS2 ports; simple adapters will not work. We can supply export-version EVs pre-fitted with CCS2 dual charging ports, or carry out professional hardware retrofit to match local charging infrastructure.
Do you supply left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles?
We offer both configurations:
- LHD: For mainland China, Europe, North America, most of Asia and West Africa.
- RHD: For UK, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, South Africa and Caribbean left-traffic markets. We can arrange RHD conversion for selected models if factory stock is unavailable.
Q: Can you do vehicle modification and certification for my destination country?
Yes. We support small-scale modifications including lighting adjustment, speedometer conversion, emission tuning and safety part upgrades. We can assist with EU EEC, GCC, PVOC and other country homologation certification to meet local import standards.
Q: How does the cross-border vehicle warranty work after export?
Each vehicle carries a factory warranty. We provide global warranty transfer documentation so you can claim after-sales service at authorised local dealer networks. For models without overseas service outlets, our technical team offers remote troubleshooting and global spare parts delivery support.
Q: Do you provide spare parts and long-term after-sales support?
We maintain a large spare parts warehouse covering all the listed car brands. We can ship original spare parts by air or sea with short lead times. We also offer long-term bulk spare parts supply contracts for fleet dealers.
